LET'S SET SAIL FOR REGATTA

As we are officially in the month of october, this means we are approaching the famous regatta week! For those who are not familiar with regatta, this is a yearly event where different types of sailing takes place in the Kralendijk bay. It’s when sunfishes, beach cat, sailing yatchs, and of course windsurfers and a new category for this year kitesurfing will compete for their class champions. So if you are a sail lover I highly recommend you to come and participate for next years event!

The event starts the 5th of october and will end on the 10th of october. Five days of racing and competing! This means a lot of beach time fun for us on the Island! That being said, we have to take good care of our skin and health. While enjoying the sun and the beach we may forget one of the most important things, sun protection before and during the activities on the water.  And don’t forget the most important thing; WATER!

Coconut spray: Bath and Body Works 

Sunscreen : Hawaiian tropic (SPF 50)

Face Sunscreen: Neutrogena (SPF 100)

Eos lip balm

Cap: Billabong

Sunglass: Dolce & Gabbana 

Any type of hat, in this case a cap is essential to help protect your face from the sun
