"SPRING WISH LIST"
So today I wanted to share a couple of things that are on my "Spring Wish List". As you know, being a "fashion" blogger, your always on the hunt to find the perfect pieces to rock the look in all the seasons. While here on the Island we experience the summer weather all year round, and on the other side of the world they have 4 changing seasons and with that, 4 different types of wardrobe. However I try to incorporate these 4 changing seasons in the tropical weather that we have in the Caribbean.
With this said, let's start with my current cravings for this season.
1. Starting off with this braided wedge. It is perfect for the warmer days and a no brainer. Whether you are going for a shopping spree during the day, or people watching in the afternoon, these types of shoes are easy to pair with any outfit. The thing I love the most of this wedge is that the details are made out of straw which gives it an instant Island feel.
2. You can never go wrong with a denim dress. They are a key item to have in your wardrobe for this season. Easy to throw on when you have "noting to wear". They can be both dressed up with for example the straw wedge that is mentioned above, or for a more casual look you can wear some slip on sandals to keep it clean and simple.
3. Talking about sandals, I've never owned a gray sandal before. So when I saw this one I imagined the whole outfit and scenery. Having sun kissed legs and a pop of color dress, combined with these gray sandals are a perfect look for the summer afternoons, while going for an ice-cream or two.
4. Flowy dresses are the cutest things for the spring season. This one especially is super airy, flowy and perfect to wear during the day or afternoon.
5. I've always loved a statement neckless cause it can easily make an simple outfit that much interesting. This one is the perfect combination between a gold chocker and a statement piece.
6. Can we take a minute to appreciate this cute little bag? It has spring written all over it.
7. Hat over Hats. Yes I love me some HATS. If paired with the right outfit, it will sure finish that outfit off and make your outfit that more exciting.
8. One piece swimsuits has become my favorite swimwear. It covers the right areas if you are not in to showing to much. The colors on this one is vibrant and a must have item for this season. You can easily pair this suit with a denim short and you are good to go.
9. Jumpsuits has always been a must have for me. The thing with jumpsuits is that they are super easy and effortless. They are a right-to-wear piece, not to much to think about. Just trow it on and you are out the door! You can obviously make it as interesting as you want by pairing it with some statement shoes or accessories.
10. And of course a statement bag has to be on this list right? This swirl printed bag is for sure an eye-catcher.
11. Are you attending a spring/sumer wedding? These types of long and flowy dresses are just the item you need for this special occasion. Oh and this mustard color is one of my favorites for this season.
12. A printed bottom makes a great statement item and has become my recent favorite. This one you can wear either during the day or at night.
